- Point to a comment to see its links.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click Approve<\/strong> to show it on your site, Reply<\/strong> to answer it, Spam<\/strong> for junk, or Trash<\/strong> to remove it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

Turn comments on or off for a post<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

- Open the post in the block editor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In the post settings sidebar, click the word next to Discussion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Choose Open<\/strong> or Closed<\/strong>, then click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

Set comment rules for your site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
For site admins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Go to Settings \u2192 Discussion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Under Default post settings<\/strong>, tick Allow people to submit comments on new posts<\/strong> to turn comments on for new posts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

- The default only applies to new posts. Open or close comments on existing posts one at a time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Getting spam? In Settings \u2192 Discussion<\/strong>, tick Users must be registered and logged in to comment<\/strong> so only people with an ECU login can comment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Trashed comments are deleted for good after 30 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
