Corners & Intersections: Interdependent Design Research provides an intimate view into the rich design research practices developed and employed by students within ECU’s MDes program. Themes in this anthology range from community and relationship-building to space and placemaking to collections and materiality, all explored through the lens of design. Through this publication, students have managed to demonstrate their unique position within the field of design and design research, as well as the ways in which their approaches connect and intersect with their peers. This beautifully designed compendium offers fresh perspectives on design’s role in the world, from the newest generation of design thinkers and practitioners.
Corners & Intersections is available as a limited run print edition as well as free digital copies available on the Occasional Press website.
