Updated

Get to your Dashboard

  1. Go to palette.ecuad.ca and log in.
  2. Point to My Sites in the black bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Point to your site’s name, then click Dashboard.
From Palette to your Dashboard: My Sites, your site, Dashboard.

What’s on the Dashboard

The menu on the left lists what you can do on your site. As a student you will see:

  • Posts: write new posts and edit your own. See Making a new post.
  • Media: images, video and files you have uploaded.
  • Comments: comments left on your posts.
  • Profile: your name and how it appears on your posts. See Updating your name and profile.
The Dashboard menu as a student sees it.

Faculty and site admins see more, such as Appearance, Users and Settings.

Switch between your site and the Dashboard

  1. Click your site’s name in the black bar at the top.
  2. Choose Visit Site to see your site as visitors do, or Dashboard to go back.
Site name, Visit Site. Then site name, Dashboard.

Good to know

  • No black bar at the top of the screen? You are not logged in.
  • Your site is not under My Sites? Ask your instructor to add you. Faculty, see Adding members to your site.
  • On a phone, the menu is hidden. Tap the menu icon at the top left to open it.
