- Project storage: We have two large flat file drawer cabinets for free shared COMD student use (drawers are labeled: some can be claimed each year, and some are reserved for specific classes or for shared use by all.) Maximum size: 24×36″ large-format prints, or 4 stacks of 11×17″ per drawer. These do not lock. The school also has locker spaces available in the hallways for a small fee, and those are managed by Facilities.

- A variety of text, card, and specialty papers, by the sheet
- Button parts for use with our button machine
- Paper bags and cardboard trays for carrying paper and prints (small quantities always free for students)
- Wire spines, 6 colours available (all offcuts free for reuse)
- Clear adhesive film for gloss laminating Risograph-printed stickers
Any member of the Emily Carr community (students, staff, or faculty) able to load funds and use the ECU Digital Wallet system with their ID card can buy COMD studio materials from the tech office.
