How Do I Access Risograph Printing In The ECU Communication Design Studio?

Complete access and booking information, including the requirements to get set up for independent printing with minimal tech help, can be found on the Communication Design Studio Risograph Moodle
You can go ahead and book a tech appointment online if you’re…
- A COMD major in year 2+, or a MDes student
- In a course with an arranged Risograph project
- Faculty or staff who’ve been in contact with COMD Tech about a Risograph project
- Someone who has Risograph printed with us in COMD before (and you’re a current ECU degree program student or employee)
If you’re not in any of the above categories, please start by filling out an interdisciplinary Request For Support, describing your project. This is the pathway for most ECU students and community members to request support and access in a shop, studio, or production area outside their usual program or curriculum areas.
There is a minimum of 5 prints per master for tech printing. Current prices for masters, prints, and paper are posted in the studio.
Instructors: If you would like to arrange a Risograph project and/or demo workshop for your class (200+ level in a degree program), please contact the COMD technician, ideally before classes start for the term. We may not have the capacity to accommodate all class requests.
Currently no COMD access or printing for: Foundation, Alumni, non-credit students, or the general public. Sorry!
